Born to an artistic family, Phi Điệp was a frequent traveler alongside his parents and two brothers in their performing tours.
At the age of 13, he was admitted to Viet Nam National College of Dance, from where he graduated with distinction in 2003.
Then he started his dancing career with the HBSO, and got promoted to be a Soloist.
He dances in many HBSO productions, including Swan Lake (Act II), Giselle. Carmen, Saga of a Romance, Gonging through the Rapids, and many others works.
Phi Điệp was honoured by the Association of Dancers as “Outstanding Artist” in 2006.
He won a Class B prize at the National Dance Festival in 2008.
