New teacher for academic year 2015-2016

For the new Academic Year 2015-2016, Ms. Michaela Griffin, a talented professional ballet dancer from South Africa, will join us.
Michaela was born in Durban, South Africa. At the age of 15, Michaela moved to Hong Kong where she attended the Hong Kong academy for Performing Arts, she spent 2 years there and received an Advanced Diploma in Classical Ballet.
Upon returning to South Africa, Michaela joined South African Ballet Theatre for their season of Sleeping Beauty after which she joined Cape Town City Ballet in which she performed many roles, including Blue bird pas de deux and Clara in the Nutcracker. After a year of intensive classical training with Mr Martin Schoenberg, Michaela moved to England and joined Northern Ballet.
In 2013 Michaela joined Vienna Festival Ballet with whom she performed many of her favourite roles such as Princess Aurora in Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Sugar Plum Fairy, Cinderella and Black Swan.
2015, Michaela was a guest artist with the South African National DanceTrust where she performed both female lead roles- Phrygia and Aegina in their production of A Spartacus of Africa.
Michaela has just moved to Ho Chi Minh and it is her first time in Vietnam.
